Herbal Times Newsletter March 14 Meeting Girl Scout Building 6:00 pm

Hello Fellow Herbalists!

So far Julie said we have 15 scholarship applications. Virgil said we have 58 vendors so far. This weekend is the Master Gardeners seminar Connie Cooper and Catherine John are manning the table thank you so much for volunteering. Don’t forget to pay your dues. If you can’t make it to the meeting send it to the WVHS P.O. Box 10563 Terre Haute IN 47801. We are going to talk about amending the bylaws because of the internet; we don’t need to supply the library with books and magazines. We have a Facebook page and a web site anyone can google anything. I also want to talk about the club booth at the herb fair we think we should have information only like uses for herbs where to plant them when to plant them we will talk about it at the meeting.

We will have a guest speaker at the meeting Adam Grossman with the Vigo County Parks Department will talk about making maple sugar. This was a very good year he said. He will bring a sample for tasting. Don’t forget this is soup and bread month for the pitch in. My snow drops, daffodil’s and surprise lilies are coming up. My pussy willow bush is budding out just waiting for the honey bees to arrive.

April in Paris April 12 (Thursday. 8:15am registration with program at 8:45am. Three speakers. Cost is $20 which includes breakfast, materials, speakers and vendors. Held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 15197 US HWY 150, Paris, Illinois. Registration deadline is April 6, 2018.
